Look, a Thing! #4: I am in bed.

I am in bed. This is literally footage of the very moment I woke up, as I set up the camera the night before. It's kind of creepy, now that I think of it, to imagine a blind eye staring at me all night. And, since I would be curious if I was watching it, the crazy lines are an antennae for a radio in a parking booth I work in. It's by the main library.

The noise is from people putting up ugly, ugly siding on my apartment and neighboring apartments. I seriously thought they were done. They interrupted my sleep. This is my wuss-revenge!

How delightful, I would be pissed. The sound and antennae were an interesting representation of that half-awakeness.

more yesses to the niceness of your half-awake portrayal. Great idea, too, to catch that elusive moment. It's a rare thing to be able to listen to someone describe a dream they're sort of still having.

I liked the "not quite awake yet" feel, as everyone else agrees. And if I were you I would yell obscenities out the window....:) Just kidding.

Good work!

Aww...sleepy noises. I liked your delivery and music choice, as well as the superimposed brightness. Yay.

Very intimate and real. I can never play with transparency and make it look even okay...I enjoyed yours quite much. Also admire the improv/spontaneity.

I can identify with being woken up by the sounds of construction. I still live at home and our house has been in a constant mode of remodel for the past 20'ish years. What's worse for the current project is that most of the construction is just on the otherside of my wall. My dad likes to get up and work on it at 6 am on a Sunday or Monday, when I've gotten to sleep at 4 or so. As far as method, doin' great at capturing the viewer's attention and keeping it.
