Look, a thing! #3

Click for viewin'.

On Riverside between where it intersections with Iowa and Burlington Avenues, I ate an apple and looked around, AS I AM WONT TO DO, and later made a video blog about it. I kind of hopped around when I was making it.

Rockin. I think that video makes that bridge seem a lot cooler than it is. Or at least than I thought it was. No easy feat. SWEET VID DUDE. Also, I like that there was music, but it was obviously not a music video. Niiiiice.

My word verification is mzgadd. Which seems like it would be like a hot, young 3rd grade teacher. Mz. Gadd.

Gadd domn it, Sean, veryfine. The music went well in those zooming shots, eliciting a feeling I can imagine you having as you rode down them. I think it started to drag just a bit, right before the music cut out and you ate the apple, but not by much. ptntuisi!

Thanks for the dose of deerhoof, i needed that. Its a nice breakdown of the space, a bit disorienting at times...a lot like the walkway itself.

That was a great way of forcing me too look at that area in a totally different way. I walk/drive there all the time and don't even notice half the stuff you made me see. Awesome.

Aww. I always loved this bridge (and am a big fan of bridges in general), especially at the time of day you shot it at. I liked your choice of music, but I thought maybe a little voice/ambient sound would've been nice to put in as well.

Ok son I got the music but not the picture. From the comments it sounds like is neat. (I got that on real player but it said I lack the software to recieve the whole thing.)

I'm beginging to think there's a fetish or something with you and your mouth. You're eating something, focusing on, or somehow pulling attention to it in each of your episodes that I've seen. :P Can't say much else though that everyone else hasn't already said.

there's a lot to be said for iowa city's pedestrian overpasses.

when I was on the whirlwind VIP tour, I saw this very bridge as well as the sign about walking the bikes AS WELL AS a good fair amount of citizens ignoring that very sign.

LAWLESSNESS.
